The 2023 Charger King Daytona, Dodge's latest "Last Call" special edition, boasts more power than the widebody SRT Hellcat Redeyeon on which it's based.

The Detroit Auto Show buzzed with exciting car industry news about the debut of the 2023 Dodge Charger King Daytona, the fifth out of the automaker’s series of the seven models it’s producing under the “Last Call” banner. The company is set to end production of the traditional Charger and Challenger, with only 300 units available. 

The spectacular Dodge Charger King Daytona pays tribute to the West Coast drag-racing culture in the 1960s and 1970s when William “Big Willie” Robinson gave his Dodge Charger the moniker “King Daytona” in a bid to inspire racers to keep it off the streets and on the track. The new Dodge has a stunning Go Mango paint finish, a black satin spoiler and a rear fender featuring King Daytona graphics.

Production of the Chrysler 300 will end in 2023. The company plans to give the full-size sedan a fantastic send-off, though. On September 2022, the company debuted the 2023 Chrysler 300C, a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 limited-series model. 

Thanks to 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque, the 300C takes 4.3 seconds to hit 60 mph. Other performance changes include a limited-slip rear differential, 4-piston Brembo front brakes, active exhaust and adaptive suspension damping. It also sports 20-inch wheels with all-season tires. A rear deck lid and model-specific grille badges round out the exterior changes. The interior features black leather trim embossed with 300C logos and carbon-fiber accents across the cabin. This model is only available in white, black and dark red.
